The book "The Institute for Art History. In 1909 to 2009" (edited by Daniel Stöppel and Gabriele Halton "), which emerged from a student project, has now appeared in the self-published with the support of the Friends and the department of art history. The book contains articles on the individual professors (Berthold Riehl to Hermann Bauer), the story of the rooms , the Student Council, the Friends, the Habilitation at the Institute as well as numerous previously unpublished images and is the first time in a concise and compact form, about the colorful history of the Munich Institute and its protagonists.
