Exercise: Cicerone! Agencies Italian painting in the Alte Pinakothek
Thursday 14-16 Clock (Start May 05, 2011)
The practice would like to connect experimentally university teaching and museum work. During the semester, the participants should be an independent leadership in the Alte Pinakothek work. Here, a selection of works, or the concentration of a work is possible. Art historical research and the specific needs of art education and painting techniques and conservation issues will be the subject of joint work. In addition, discussions were held with the art of teaching and restorers. Selected participants of the seminar will eventually perform on the occasion of the anniversary of the Alte Pinakothek, paid tours of the gallery. The exercise would thus also the time-honored practice of arts management, Jacob Burckhardt and his "The Cicerone: a guide to enjoy the art of Italy" a lasting monument set, has in the dialogue between the university and museum to draw in new forms.
High motivation, resilience and ability to work are prerequisites for participation in the exercise. Participants are limited to 15.
